Hanover: Marienburg Castle

Come with us on a short journey into the past and visit Marienburg Castle, the oldest princely house in Europe. Our Hanover double-decker bus will take you directly to the castle in Pattensen. During the journey, you will enjoy the green state capital and learn interesting and entertaining facts about the Hanover region from a tour guide.

Once you arrive at the castle, you will receive a brief introduction from a Marienburg guide outside. You will then explore the interior on your own and learn exciting stories about the house and its inhabitants. Highlights include the fully equipped castle kitchen with numerous copper kettles, baking pans, bowls and dishes, as well as the Queen's library with its elaborately painted and gold-leaf decorated umbrella vault. Afterwards, return to Hanover by coach.
