The cathedral and Carnival—these are the first things people associate with Cologne. But did you know that Cologne has held city rights for nearly 2,000 years, or that it plays a significant role internationally in the chemical, automotive, and media industries?

Join us on an approximately 90-minute tour through this vibrant metropolis on the Rhine and learn more about the eventful history of the city, its clubs, and its notable figures. Along the way, we’ll pass by many of the city’s highlights, including the cathedral, the historic city wall, the banks of the Rhine (including the Rheinauhafen), the zoo, and the Mediapark.

During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to get off the bus at any of our 14 stops, explore the surrounding attractions on foot, or visit one of Cologne’s many museums—and simply hop on the next bus—the Hop-On Hop-Off system makes it possible.
